Hall plan with exhibitor list, a plain list for the fair guide or one booth sign per exhibitor – all from one screen, printed straight from the browser or saved as PDF.
Where the print options are
In the edit screen of the event, in the “Hall plans (event only)” box below the plans – not at the individual exhibitor. Anyone who may not edit the event therefore can’t reach the print view either.
The four contents
| Content | Result |
|---|---|
| Map & exhibitor list (default) | Each hall plan with the list of its exhibitors below – for the fair guide. |
| Map only | The hall plans on their own. |
| Exhibitor list only | Just the names, grouped by location – for the handout. |
| Booth sign | One sign per exhibitor, each on a page of its own. |
What ends up on the plan
The plan stays a vector graphic when printed, so it is sharp at any size. Overlays, logos and number badges are left out, and every booth clearly shows its number. The checkbox “Show Exhibitor Names on Plan” adds the names. Below a campus plan, instead of an exhibitor list, there is the table “Event Plans & Locations Overview” with building, floor, rooms and the number of exhibitors per plan.
Printing an exhibitor list
- 1Content
“Map & exhibitor list” or “Exhibitor list only”.
- 2Orientation
Portrait (default) saves paper for long lists, landscape fits wide hall plans better.
- 3Exhibitor details
“Append type & categories to name” turns “Papierwerk Berlin” into “Papierwerk Berlin | Dealer | Manga, Art print”. “Alphabetically sorted list” replaces the grouping by location with one list from A to Z. “Show Exhibitor Names on Plan” also writes the names on the booths.
- 4“Generate print view”
A new window shows the finished result.
Without “Alphabetically sorted list” the exhibitors are grouped by location – usually the better choice. Exhibitors without a location appear under “No location”, so nobody gets lost.
Printing booth signs
- 1Content “Booth sign”
Only then do the three fields below appear.
- 2Colors
Border color and box color. The box carries the booth number; the exhibitor’s name always stays black.
- 3Event logo (optional)
It sits at the top right of every sign. Without a logo, the spot stays empty.
- 4“Generate print view”
Each sign fills a page of its own.
Signs are always laid out in A4 landscape – the orientation setting doesn’t affect them. If the booth number is missing, the box is omitted; logo and name remain. A QR code on the signs is not provided.
The print view in the browser
- Notice at the top: asks you to switch off “Headers and footers” in the print dialog and to set scaling to 100% (“Fit to page” off) – the plugin sets page numbers itself, otherwise two numberings appear on the sheet.
- “Print / Save as PDF”: opens the print dialog. Choose “Save as PDF” there if you want a file.
- Page breaks: the plugin calculates them itself. Lists and plans have 10 mm margins at top and bottom, 15 mm left and right; booth signs none.
- The grey area at the top is not printed.
What to know about the result
- All exhibitors of the event are always printed. For a part, enter a page range in the print dialog.
- If there is no hall plan, the view says “No hall plans available for this event.”
- Content, orientation and the three checkboxes apply to the current print only; next time it is back on “Map & exhibitor list”. Colors and logo of the signs are saved with the event.
In the dashboard, “Missing Booth #” and “Unassigned Hall” should be at zero. Headers and footers are off, page breaks checked in the preview.
