Where settings aren’t enough, you step in through a template copy in your theme and through WordPress filters – update-safe and without changing the plugin itself.
Replacing the exhibitor page in the theme
For an exhibitor’s single page the plugin first looks in the active theme (or child theme) for event-exhibitor-manager/single-event-exhibitor.php and only then uses its own template. The subfolder is named like the plugin folder; the plugin ignores a file of the same name directly in the theme folder.
| Template in the plugin | Copy in the theme |
|---|---|
event-exhibitor-manager/templates/single-exhibitor.php | your-theme/event-exhibitor-manager/single-event-exhibitor.php |
A template copy no longer receives plugin updates. Compare it with the original after updates – or, where possible, change things with CSS only. The pop-up is built with JavaScript and isn’t affected by the copy.

For apps and partner websites the public REST API is the right way – with a fixed data format. Styling without a template copy: CSS customizing.
